The current regulation is a Revision and replacement of the Gulf conformity assessment regulation for toys (BD 07070502, previously notified in 2007 as G/TBT/N/QAT/34, with the exception of item 4 of Annex 2 on chemical properties which is to be cancelled as of 1st of July 2015). The Revision states the mandatory requirements for toys placed on the market (for children under 14 years as defined in the draft) which allow for the free movement of toys in GCC Countries including the State of Qatar.
