Metal registration plates, identification stickers and registration documents for cars, buses and coaches, lorries, minibuses, motor cycles and trailers

The notified draft Standard establishes the technical specifications and test methods applicable to metal registration plates and identification stickers for cars, buses and coaches, lorries, minibuses, motor cycles, trailers, semi-trailers and converter dollies registered in Mexican national territory; the alphanumeric identifiers for the registration plates of the various types of vehicle registered in Mexico and used by the state and federal services; and the requirements to be met by vehicle registration documents, federal driving licences and vehicle roadworthiness test stickers. Metal vehicle registration plates and vehicle identification stickers may not under any circumstances be imported or subcontracted through third parties.
