United States of America (USA/85: Pesticide (HS 3808))
This action proposes to update the generic provisions in 40 CFR parts 9, 23, 163, 177-180 pertaining to pesticide chemical tolerances and exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance under section 408 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. This update is necessary due to various changes made in the underlying statute by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996. The proposed amendments are primarily procedural in nature.
