United States of America (USA/4: Meat labeling)
The Department is proposing to amend the Federal meat and poultry products inspection regulations to require nutrition labeling of the major cuts of single-ingredient, raw meat and poultry products, unless an exemption applies. The Department is proposing to make the guidelines currently in place for the voluntary nutrition labeling programme mandatory.
