Call for voluntary participation in French Government "Eco-labeling" experiment – DEADLINE DECEMBER 31, 2010.
The French Government is seeking participants for a voluntary pilot project on sustainable consumption labeling. As part of the Grenelle Environmental Forum Agreements and National Strategy for Sustainable Development 2010-2013, the labeling seeks to inform consumers about the environmental characteristics of consumer products with the intention of changing consumer behavior and providing a competitive edge to companies. It’s open to any individual or organization whose consumer products are marketed in France. Applications are due December 31, 2010. The project is expected to start in July 2011 and last for one year.
